Hebei Changhua Star Vehicle Co.,Ltd.
Recently, a delegation consisting of the purchasing director, chief technical engineer and operations manager of a logistics transportation group from Oman arrived at the Huanghua production base of Hebei Changhua Star Vehicle Co., Ltd. for a full-process factory inspection and in-depth business discussions. As a core strategic partner of HCSV in the Middle East market, this return visit was not only an on-site verification of the company's manufacturing processes and quality control system, but also an important step for both sides to deepen long-term cooperation and finalize additional orders. The visit further strengthened mutual trust, promoted steady regional order growth, and injected new momentum into HCSV's continued expansion in the Gulf market and the global influence of Chinese special-purpose vehicle brands.

Hebei Changhua Star Vehicle Co., Ltd. is a large-scale special-purpose vehicle manufacturer in China integrating R&D, production, foreign trade export and after-sales service. The company has a provincial-level enterprise technology center and a special-purpose vehicle testing laboratory, holds more than 100 national patents, and possesses a full set of export access qualifications including EU CE, Gulf GCC and Middle East SASO certifications. Its product portfolio covers hazardous chemical liquid tanker trailers, LNG Trailer products, aluminum lightweight semi-trailers, bulk material transport vehicles and other model categories, meeting transportation needs across energy, chemical and logistics applications.
In recent years, the company has accelerated its transformation toward intelligent manufacturing. It has invested in six smart production workshops, a fully enclosed automatic painting line and a national-standard finished vehicle inspection center, realizing digital control from raw material warehousing to finished vehicle delivery. Compared with traditional production lines, production efficiency has increased by 40%, and the first-pass product qualification rate has reached 99.6%, fully meeting the strict manufacturing standards of high-end overseas markets. During the visit, accompanied by the general manager and the foreign trade and production technology teams, the delegation toured six major workshops, including blanking, welding, tank forming, non-destructive testing, painting and final assembly, as well as the finished vehicle test field. The visitors observed each production process at close range and directly verified HCSV's lean manufacturing capabilities.
The Middle East features intense heat, strong sunlight, frequent sandstorms and complex road conditions, which place much higher requirements on tank sealing, vehicle corrosion resistance and structural strength than ordinary markets. These factors were also the delegation's key concerns during the visit. In response to regional operating conditions, HCSV has built a dedicated production system for overseas markets, with exclusive quality control checkpoints established across seven core processes to ensure exported vehicles can adapt to harsh transport environments.
1. CNC Precision Blanking: Controlling Dimensional Accuracy at the Source
As the first production step, the blanking workshop is equipped with advanced equipment such as fully automatic fiber laser cutting machines and CNC bending machines. All export-grade steel and aluminum alloy plates undergo dual inspections for material performance and weather resistance before warehousing. Supported by a digital programming system, the equipment can complete customized plate cutting, bending and bevel processing with one click, with cutting error controlled within 0.1 mm, effectively eliminating dimensional deviations caused by manual blanking. For heavy-duty transport demands in the Middle East, the frame main beams use high-strength alloy steel, and stress relief is completed during the blanking stage to enhance load-bearing and deformation resistance from the source.
2. Robotic Intelligent Welding: Strengthening the Safety Core of the Tank Body
Welding is a core process for tanker-type special vehicles and directly determines operating safety. HCSV has established multi-axis robotic welding workstations. Longitudinal seams, circumferential seams, head butt welds and load-bearing frame welds are all completed through automated welding, with only auxiliary welds supplemented manually. The intelligent system maintains constant welding parameters, producing uniform, full welds without defects such as pores, slag inclusions or cracks. Weld strength and sealing performance exceed manual standards. At the same time, optimized welding material formulas improve high-temperature crack resistance, meeting long-term high-temperature operation requirements in the Middle East. The customer conducted on-site spot checks of weld samples and highly recognized the automated welding process.
3. Integrated Tank Forming: Matching Energy Transportation Needs
The tank forming workshop adopts a whole-plate rolling process, reducing the number of spliced welds and further lowering leakage risks. For Oman’s transportation needs involving petroleum, chemical raw materials and LNG, the workshop produces double-layer vacuum insulated tanks and lightweight aluminum alloy tanks. With HCSV's self-developed patented vacuum cold-retention technology, the daily evaporation rate of cryogenic tankers can be as low as 0.2%, significantly reducing operating losses for customers.

4. Triple Non-Destructive Testing: Guarding the Factory-Release Safety Line
After tank forming, all tanks enter the independent non-destructive testing center and undergo X-ray inspection, hydrostatic pressure testing and air-tightness testing in sequence. These tests provide 100% coverage for detecting micron-level cracks and sealing risks. All test data is automatically archived, creating a traceable record for each vehicle and preventing any unqualified semi-finished product from entering the next process. This fully aligns with transport safety regulations in the Gulf region.
5. Multi-Layer Anti-Corrosion Coating: Resisting Extreme Climate Erosion
For the strong ultraviolet radiation, heavy sandstorms and high salt-spray environments of the Middle East, HCSV adopts a four-layer anti-corrosion process consisting of sandblasting and rust removal, epoxy primer, corrosion-resistant topcoat and UV-resistant clear coat. High-strength sandblasting first removes the oxide layer from the steel surface, and protective coatings are then applied layer by layer. The outdoor corrosion resistance of the complete vehicle can exceed eight years, effectively solving problems such as fading and rusting common in ordinary coatings and reducing customers' later maintenance costs.
6. Modular Final Assembly: Standardization Ensures Consistent Performance
The final assembly workshop uses a modular assembly mode. Export-specific components such as axles, air suspension, imported braking systems, intelligent tire pressure monitoring and rollover warning systems are integrated and installed according to standard procedures. All export vehicles are equipped with Gulf-standard safety braking systems and intelligent monitoring terminals, which can remotely monitor tank pressure, temperature and vehicle status, meeting local requirements for smart logistics supervision. Standardized assembly ensures stable performance for every exported vehicle and avoids operational failures caused by assembly differences.
7. Full-Range Factory Road Testing: Final Verification Under Simulated Conditions
After final assembly, each vehicle enters the dedicated test field, where real operating conditions such as bumpy Middle East roads, high-temperature idling and continuous braking are simulated. More than ten road tests are completed, including braking performance, suspension damping and tank sealing. Only after passing all tests can the vehicle be packaged and shipped. This full-process quality control system allows overseas customers to directly perceive the quality assurance behind each product.
Since the partnership began in 2020, HCSV and the Oman customer have maintained six years of stable and in-depth cooperation. In the early stage, the customer purchased only basic liquid tank semi-trailers. After long-term local market operation, the vehicles demonstrated low failure rates and strong adaptability, winning consistent recognition from the customer's operations team.
In recent years, the scale of cooperation has continued to expand, and the procurement categories have gradually upgraded to high-value-added models such as LNG Trailer products and lightweight aluminum tanker trailers. Data shows that orders between the two sides increased by 42% year-on-year in 2025 and by another 28% year-on-year in the first half of 2026. During this meeting, both parties formally signed a letter of intent for procurement in the second half of the year, adding multiple customized vehicle orders. They also agreed to rely on HCSV's R&D center to jointly develop specially improved models for Oman's mountain roads and high-temperature heavy-load operating conditions.
The purchasing director of the Oman customer stated, 'We have visited many Chinese special-purpose vehicle companies. HCSV's transparent production workshops, rigorous quality inspection processes and dedicated improvements for Middle East operating conditions are the core advantages we recognize most. The vehicles delivered in the past have operated stably, and after-sales responses have been timely. In the future, we will not only continue to expand procurement, but also recommend HCSV to our peers in Gulf countries to build broader channels for cooperation.'
At the same time, the HCSV foreign trade team introduced its full-chain overseas service system to the customer. The system covers early-stage customization, visualized production follow-up, sea freight coordination, spare parts supply, remote technical support and on-site maintenance by overseas engineers, fully addressing the customer's after-sales concerns.
As a global core energy-producing region, the Middle East has strong demand for energy logistics and hazardous chemical transport equipment, while also setting high market access thresholds and strict requirements for product quality and service capability. In recent years, HCSV has adhered to a dual domestic and international market strategy, identifying the six Gulf countries in the Middle East as core overseas markets and completing three key layouts in advance: product certification, condition-specific model improvement and after-sales service networks.
On the product side, HCSV has completed full-dimensional optimization for high temperatures, sandstorms and right-hand traffic in the Middle East. Its full range of models has obtained local access certifications, allowing vehicles to clear customs and be put into operation upon arrival. On the service side, the company has established a Middle East regional after-sales service center in Dubai, UAE, with original spare parts and resident technical engineers. Covering Oman, Saudi Arabia, the UAE and neighboring countries, the center can provide on-site maintenance within 72 hours, solving the common pain point of delayed after-sales service for Chinese manufacturing abroad.
To date, HCSV has exported more than 5,000 vehicles to the Middle East and served over 100 local logistics and energy companies, building a strong reputation for Chinese brands. Going forward, the company will continue to focus on three core overseas markets -- the Middle East, Southeast Asia and Africa -- while upgrading intelligent manufacturing lines and increasing R&D investment in customized models. With high-quality products and complete services, HCSV aims to support the development of the global logistics industry.

Craftsmanship builds precision, and cooperation creates long-term value. This on-site visit by the Oman customer was not only a comprehensive review of HCSV's manufacturing strength and service system by an overseas partner, but also an important milestone in upgrading the strategic cooperation between the two sides. In the future, Hebei Changhua Star Vehicle Co., Ltd. will remain committed to lean manufacturing, seize opportunities for Chinese manufacturing to go global, and continue leveraging its intelligent manufacturing and customized R&D capabilities. By deepening its presence in the high-end Middle East market and expanding its global footprint, HCSV will enable more high-quality special-purpose vehicles to operate on overseas roads and further strengthen the global reputation of Chinese manufacturing.
